“ I think this is one of the best dim sum restaurants in nova. When fortune in seven corners closed, I had to go looking for a new go to spot and this one is it. I used to go here with family on holidays and it would get so busy and packed that the wait wasn't worth it. They have very few employees so during big rushes it's very hard but I came again on a random weekday and it was completely different. It was so slow that it was like I was having a private event but the food came out so fast and the waitress was very attentive. I like how you can order with the dim sum menu (that includes pictures) so it's easier to locate the things you really want instead of searching while you're trying to eat and talk with everyone. It's also a great place to show someone who has never had dim sum before! ”
“ Still the standard for us when it comes to a traditional Chinese restaurant. Family menu for 10 was a nice selection of great tasting dishes (all food groups represented), including the favorite Vinh Kee fried chicken with lots of garlic, lobster, and a whole steamed fish. We also ordered an extra serving of crispy calamari also with lots of garlic, congee, bitter melon with beef. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our requests. Can certainly handle big groups. Lots of free parking spaces available. ”
“ excellent dim sum option in NoVa! friendly service. har gow and shrimp rice crepes taste just like ones in Hong Kong (I lived there for three years). Thanks! ”
“ The food was really good, there is so much on the menu to try. The people were so nice and accommodating. I love the wall decorations and there are plenty of seating! ”
“ I've been coming here since 2018 and, the service has been great regardless of how busy they are! They've always taken care of us and have given us great food consistently! ”
“ I came here before but haven't been back for many years. To my delight they have dim sum here now so that was great. Inside looks just as I remember it with plenty of seating. Service was great and the waiter gave good knowledge of the menu. We ordered most of the traditional dim sum dishes and I enjoyed the food, it was very comparable to other places in this area. After my long hiatus I plan on coming back for dim sum now. Lastly I did notice is they had the pork buns that were baked and not in the traditional puffy bread. I prefer these since the traditional buns are just too much bread for me. ”
“ I take my 2017 review back, Vinh Kee is something I *do* crave on a regular basis! In fact, ordering a takeout spread from Vinh Kee on Lunar New Year has been my MO for the past few years. I'm not super traditional with my ordering but nothing beats their spicy fried pork chops (Protip: Save those crispy garlic bits and top it off on your rice), combination pan fried noodles, beef chow fun, mongolian beef and chicken fried rice. A meal here totally takes me back to my youth and chowing down on Canto food with my pops. It is getting a bit harder for me to find this style food in the area so I am so glad that this battered down restaurant is still dishing out the goods. Takeout is efficient and quick! I am a fan. ”
